Hard Rain DVD

Hard Rain DVD
David Bradbury's latest film is about nuclear power, in particular the uranium mining industry and the consequences for our planet of the current headlong rush nuclear power as a panacea to all of society's ills.
From the Olympic Dam project in South Australia that daily bleeds the Great Artesian Basin dry whilst simultaneously allowing radioactive tailings water to be released that will eventually enter this great water system, the mining families that have moved to the boomtowns in the desert to France's nuclear industry, Bradbury takes a hard look at the entire nuclear industry worldwide.
As with most films or articles done on this subject that are not sponsored by vested interests, this film will get you involved and appalled.
In an election year in Australia it is important that the whole nuclear power cycle's bogus credentials as a greenhouse saviour is exposed for what it is: spin from big business intending to make a lot of money while poisoning our land forever.
Bradbury has been making anti-nuclear films for 20 odd years. He has a screening pack available for those who wish to hold screenings of this and other films he has made. Contact Kindred for more details.
