Advertiser Guidelines

Kindred seeks to support life style choices that are sustainable both for the environment and for the human family. Therefore we will not accept certain forms of advertising. They are:

• Tobacco, cigarette advertisements

• Alcohol

• Infant formula, toddler milk drinks, bottle or bottle-feeding paraphernalia (in compliance with the World Health Organization International Code of the Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes)

• Disposable nappies only if gel-free, perfume-free and biodegradable.

• Cots, cribs or playpens

• Pacifiers (dummies)

• Products advertised for co-sleeping must not suggest that co-sleeping is dangerous.

• Cleaning products only if biodegradable

• Make-up, cosmetics and personal care products must be made with ingredients that were not tested on animals or obtained from animals in a cruel manner.

• Junk food – i.e. lollies, candy, chips, hot dogs, which contain preservatives, sweeteners and flavour enhancers, etc.

• Fast food restaurants

• Products produced in sweat shops.
